My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 is the third installment in the Big Fat Greek franchise, this time they're in Greece. 

Written, directed, and starring Nia Vardalos, just like the previous films. Now she is being asked to become the head of the family. I imagine if they do a fourth installment that like the other sequels they will never live up to the first one and will have throwbacks you've come to expect now with any sequel.

Paris is back, played by Elena Kampouris, she's pretty but her beauty isn't going to draw a crowd, and her counterpart, Elias Kacavas, isn't going to bring in the crowd looking for young eye candy. Both of them haven't been in much and their future doesn't look great either.

Stephanie Nur is a newcomer to this franchise and you might recognize her from 1883 as Melodi. She does a pretty good job with the role that was designed for her. She's not heavily utilized but that was because the franchise has become an ensemble. 

Melina Kotselou adds a bit of "progressiveness" to the film if that's what you're into. Her comedic timing didn't land for me.

The film passed the time it wasn't good or bad, it was just okay. Result: C+.

  Leo is about an old lizard who wants to have his one last hurrah before he gets too old to do his bucket list. This is another in the long line of Adam Sandler movies for Netflix that his contract requires him to do. In 2020, Sandler got another quarter of a million dollar deal with Netflix to do four more movies since his view count was so monumental over other Netflix original movies. While watching the movie you can tell it's Sandler's humor and he hires his usual friends to voice act in this animated family film. With Disney failing and Illumination taking hold of families, it's nice that there is room for Happy Madison Productions to put in good work. Cinderella (2021)

  Cinderella is a modern take on the classic tale. This time everything is politically upside down. Written and Directed by Kay Cannon,   Cinderella takes any chance it can to push an agenda. It's nauseating in the forcefulness of the propaganda. It's hard to take any scene that isn't singing seriously. It lives in a dystopian world where anyone who doesn't think progressively like-minded is a fool and shouldn't have joy. The direction is okay, but that's to be expected as she probably picked up some being the producer of the Pitch Perfect trillogy. Camila Cabello  plays Cinderella and her first major film. She can sing and performs well next to her stepmother played by Idina Menzel, who needs no introduction. Surely, she will be in future musicals and I can only hope for one with a better writer. Pain Hustlers (2023)

  Pain Hustlers  is a fictional story based on how similarly true events transpire in the pharma business.  From the director of various Harry Potter & Fantastic Beasts  films, David Yates, the film is very different than a typical Yates film. He had a major stinker with The Legend of Tarzan and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. This is by far his best film. Who knows why but perhaps it's the first time writers Wells Tower and Evan Hughes , both who've basically done nothing. That being said it's a great way to start. Emily Blunt has a hard time with her American accent throughout most of the film, but she does a great job playing the rags-to-riches woman who just wants what's best for her kid. It's relatable and builds on her legacy as an actress.  Chris Evans plays the man who brings Blunt into all of this.
